GFG Safaris operate a hunting concession on a beautiful 20 000 acre Karoo Farm, 3 hours north of Cape Town.

The farm, Stinkfontein, is very unique in what it has to offer the hunter. It is the only farm in the Karoo that have two "major" rivers passing through it. The Karoo is classified as a semi arid desert and known for its droughts. Even though these rivers have water for less than two months of the year, it provides underground water. The rivers beds totally transforms the landscape into what looks more like our Northern Provence's "Bushveld" than a Karoo farm.

This allows for great walk and stalk hunts that are otherwise almost impossible to do in the Karoo. However, as you move away from the rivers you are back in the "open plains" the Karoo is known for.

The animals on Stinkfontein are in great physical condition all year round and we are very proud to be a part of the team at Stinkfontein.
